Meet The Doctors

Dr. Rick Beck is proud to be a Northwest Indiana family dentist, practicing in Merrillville — the same region where he was born and raised. He began his undergraduate studies at Indiana University before being accepted early to the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1994.

He feels very fortunate to have found a profession he truly enjoys and that allows him to help his patients achieve a healthy, happy smile. Outside the office, Dr. Beck lives in Valparaiso with his wife, Liesl, and their three children, Ryan, Stephanie, and Meghan. He's also uncle and mentor to Dr. Isabel Bravo, who joined the practice in 2024. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth sports — especially volleyball — playing golf, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Isabel Bravo is proud to join Beck Dental Center, bringing her passion for dentistry along with her energetic spirit to the office. Born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 2020 before completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in May 2024.

She works alongside her uncle and mentor, Dr. Richard Beck, and shares the practice's emphasis on continual education and providing high-quality, up-to-date patient care. Outside the office, Dr. Bravo enjoys spending time with family and her husband, Chad, walking her dog, Indy, working out, and spending time outdoors.
